Breast reconstruction is a surgical option that rebuilds the shape of the breast after a mastectomy or other damage to the breast area. This can be done using either implants or the patient's own tissue.

Excess breast tissue in men (Gynaecomastia) which can be caused by puberty or certain medications and conditions can also be corrected by a surgical procedure.
